The problem
Stamped drawings need an architect licensed in your state. Finding one, then waiting on a quote, is where most homeowners give up.
The approach
An adaptive questionnaire produces an instant estimate and a match with two or three licensed architects. Architects pay a flat monthly subscription. The platform takes 0% of project fees.
Two apps over one backend: the client-facing marketplace, and ArchitectHire Studio, where architects work. Every page renders from the backend CMS. There are no hardcoded strings.
What I owned
Both frontends and the API. Next.js 16 with Clerk for auth. Django, DRF and Channels for live messaging, presence and notifications. Celery for background work.
